The Harris Academy Chafford Hundred Teaching School Hub was one of the first six Teaching School Hubs designated by the DfE in January 2020 and is now a part of the wider network of 87 Teaching School Hubs nationally.
Our Hub, which is based at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred in Essex, is responsible for the following Local Authority Districts: Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Maldon, Rochford, Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock.

NIOT Programmes
This programme is suitable for KS1-2 and KS3 class teachers. The programme will connect local schools with specialist artist practitioners from Music, Visual Arts and Drama to explore how to improve student writing.

This programme is aimed at the next generation of outstanding practitioners who demonstrate a commitment to evidence-informed practice and the professional development of others. The Lead Practitioners role enables teachers to take the next step into whole school leadership whilst maintaining a focus on excellent teaching and learning.
The 18-month journey of enriched professional development is delivered through three training strands:
