Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship

A fabulous opportunity for all Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants!

Working in partnership with Essex County Council and Best Practice Network (National Apprenticeship provider), we are offering a FUNDED work-based training programme with external specialist tutor support for TAs employed in a school, commencing November 2023.

TAs will gain fundamental knowledge and develop the skills and behaviours that are required to support teachers to enhance pupil learning either in groups or individually.

A blend of face to face and online delivery, further supported by online materials. TAs will learn how to promote self-belief, social inclusion and high self-esteem.

TAs personalise their pathways based on their choice of specialist area(s); SEND, Early-Years, English as an Additional Language, Behaviour, and Assessment.

TAs will be supported on a 1-1 basis in functional skills whilst undertaking the Apprenticeship if they have not secured Level 2 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths. On completion, TAs can progress to HLTA Status and engage in our HLTA Pedagogy Programme.
